Coordinators,
I emailed you all last week to let you know about an opportunity that some of you
will have to host a movie screening in your city. "Gas Hole", the Movie, is about
the history of oil prices and the future of alternative fuels-and it's a bright future
folks, especially if enough people see this movie.
I had the pleasure of viewing the movie last night. I know the #1 concern by some
coordinators was, is it too controversial for our Coalition to be a part of, well your
answer by me is; Controversial? Only if you are working for the oil industry--If you
rely on your legislators for support of your program THEY WILL LOVE YOU FOR
SUPPORTING THIS MOVIE!!! I guarantee you. And for those lucky enough to live
in CA? I am now the BIGGEST # 1 FAN of Congresswoman Anna Eshoo...

I think this woman ROCKS!!!!!!! But, it doesn't end there. Every Legislative
body, both Republic and Democrat who appeared in this film, from New Mexico to
New York and back to CA did an amazing job with the facts mam, just the facts.
There is even a cameo appearance by someone at the US Department of Energy,
although I don't want to give you too much info.
And I can tell you one more thing---When I grow up- well let's face it, if I grow up, I
want to have the guts and perseverance that Jeremy and Scott have had to put
this movie together.
I will fully support the efforts of this movie-My husband and I sat for 101 minutes
and never left our seats. We were completely drawn in by the first 10 minutes and
never let off the gas (oh excuse me, the biodiesel).
Good Luck all, I will keep you posted on the efforts of our Coalition screening of
this movie.!
